Emily wanted today to be her turn, so here's her answers.  Enjoy life from a 4 year old view!

For Today - August 23, 2010

Outside my window...It's dark, but I can see someone walking. I see some twinkling lights.  I don't like it when it's dark, but I love it when it gets dark on our slumber party nights, because that means that it's time to start our slumber party, & we get to stay up late.

I am thinking...about Avery.  I hope she gets to come soon. We miss her so much.

I am thankful for...my Mommy.  I am always thankful for her.

I am remembering...lots of things.  I remember Disneyland.  I remember playing with Avery, & watching Dora with her.  I remember fun things with Mommy.

On my mind...Well, here's something that I'm wondering about, but it's not really thinking.  It's wondering.  I am wondering when will we go back to Disneyland.

I am pondering these words...Well, I want you to guess it.  It starts with an 'L' & it makes the 'L' sound.  It's 'I Love You'!   I love hearing Mommy say those words to me, & I love saying them to her.

From the learning rooms...I'm learning to spell new words.  I love to spell. S-P-E-L-L.

From the kitchen...we are going to have ice cream sundaes tonight.  I love sundaes!  I am going to have a strawberry sundae with some caramel on it.

I am wearing...a pink Cinderella shirt & white pants.  My pants don't have anything on them.  They are just plain white.

I am creating...I have been drawing hills & putting Mommy & me on them.  I put Lilly on them too.

I am going...to play an Oswald game on Mommy's computer.  You have to catch ice cream on that game.  It falls out of the ice cream machine, & you have to catch it on a cone.

I am reading...I can only read some words, but I am going to learn to read lots of words soon.  Mommy is teaching me.  I am 4, so that means next I will be 5.  Then I can learn to read & write new words.

I am hoping...Avery comes to see us soon.

I am hearing...I hear Daddy talking to Elliot. I hear Mommy asking me these questions.

Around the house...is lots of pretty things.  I love our home.  Mommy makes it so pretty.  I help her to make it pretty.  When we clean, I like to pretend that we are Princesses, because Princesses work hard.  Cinderella had to mop floors.  When we clean, I am Cinderella & Mommy is Snowwhite.

One of my favorite things...I'm squeezing my favorite thing now.  It's Mommy!

A few plans for the rest of the week...slide down on my slide, play at PBS on the little computer, play with Tinkerbell, help Mommy, learn new things, listen to Mommy read me stories, cuddle with Mommy.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...Last night, me & Mommy went to the store to get ice cream, toppings, & whipped cream.  We had ice cream sundae night.  I made a sign for us so that we could pretend we had an ice cream shop.  It was fun.  Everyone said that it was the best sundae ever.  We are having sundaes again tonight.  I love ice sundaes.  I love Mommy's Bible study friends too.  Here's my picture that I drew for our ice cream shop -

  8. Kid's drawings are so precious.
I had a friend who framed her children's drawings and displayed them over the sofa in her living room.
    They looked wonderful.
