For Today - July 12, 2010

Outside my window...a hot day, but so beautiful.

I am thinking...I need to get going on my day.  Today has moved in slow motion.

I am thankful for...a wonderful dr.  A dr. that gives his patients his personal email addy & answers your email asap - even on weekends - one that offers to mail out your vitamins to save you a trip into his office to pick them up & one that gives out his cell phone number to his patients...how awesome is he?!

I am remembering...my basically computer free weekend, & how wonderful it was!

On my mind...the smoothie that I'm going to have later.  I 'love' smoothies!

I am pondering these words..."Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2  This is the verse that my doctor has at the head of his letters to his patients...he also has it at the top of his sign-in sheet at his office.

From the learning rooms...how much time you have if you have a computer free day!  I spent maybe 30 minutes total on my computer this weekend.  I am amazed at all I accomplished, & at how nice it was.

From the kitchen...smoothies for an afternoon treat soon!

I am wearing...blue jean capris & white top.

I am creating...my 4th of July scrapbook pages.

I am going...to run up to Costco as soon as I finish posting this to pick up all my fresh fruits for my daily smoothies this week.

I am reading...my Bible & some magazines.

I am hoping...my son gets the job he has interviewed for.

I am hearing...one of Emily's favorite shows, Olivia.

Around the house...relaxed & quiet.

One of my favorite things...an evening spent catching up on my dvr'd programs.

A few plans for the rest of the week...Mike is out of town, so it's going to be a laid back week.  I do have plans to take Elliot & Emily to see Toy Story 3 (finally!).

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...this ball of fluff has us wrapped around her tiny paw.  She was 1 year old yesterday, & she doesn't even weigh 3 lbs.  Her breeder emailed me & told me that her Mommy is having another litter, & we're so hoping that a female golden will be born.  Tinkerbell needs a sister.

Computers have their place but we have to learn to have moderation in life I think.
I think you are doing a splendid job with that!
