A Simple Woman's Daybook

It's Elliot's turn to answer the prompts this week, so I hope you enjoy the answers from a 7 year old.  He was so happy when we got to the last prompt! :-)  The difference between him & Emily is so huge - Emily wanted the prompts to go on & on, & Elliot wanted us to be done when he got to the 3rd prompt.  From that point on, he would ask with each prompt "Is this the last one?  I want it to be over." :-)

For Today - May 24, 2010

Outside my window...I see a yellow tree, a car, other homes, a blue sky, & purple bushes.

I am thinking...about a new game.  I love to play games. 

I am thankful for...my family.  We have fun here & have the best family in the world. I love hugging them & being with them.

I am remembering...doing school.  I like it, but not when it's hard.  I don't understand why I have to do it, but I have to.  I hate the reading part & learning math things.

On my mind...our fun trip to Disneyland. It was fun riding rides, eating, seeing everything, & staying at our hotel. 

I am pondering these words..."It's dinner time!"  I love it when I hear that.  We have good food.  I love to drink milk too. 

From the learning rooms...I am learning to play games better & better.  I want some new games.  Papa is going to teach me how to play Playstation 3.

From the kitchen...I love our kitchen. It's so pretty.  I like the lemons that we have on our island.  I love to eat there. 

I am wearing...dinosaur pajamas. 

I am creating...I'm not making anything.  I don't really like to color or draw like Emily.  Coloring takes too long.  I do like to build things with blocks & legos. 

I am going...to play games, play with my toys, & maybe play outside later. 

I am reading...I don't like to read, but I have to.  It's hard to read sometimes.  I don't like the big words. 

I am hoping...I get a new Godzilla toy. 

I am hearing...Sesame Street, & these questions being asked. 

Around the house...I love it. I love our couch.  I love my dinosaur room.  It's fun at our house. 

One of my favorite things...Being with Papa.  Disneyland.  I wish I didn't have to answer these questions.  My favorite thing would be to be done answering these. 

A few plans for the rest of the week...Play, eat, drink milk - because I love milk, play with Tinkerbell, play games, maybe color - but I don't like to, so I probably won't color.
