For Today - April 26, 2010

Outside my window...beautiful!  Warm, sunny, picture perfect day.

I am thinking...about how good life is. What a gift!

I am thankful for...my husband.  He provides so well for us.

I am remembering...to never take anything for granted.

On my mind...new decorating ideas.

I am pondering these words..."I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Psalm 139:14

From the learning rooms...children have a such a unique gift of teaching us things.  If you really listen, you will be amazed at what you can learn from them.

From the kitchen...tonight will be Italian night for us - spaghetti, garlic cheese bread, & salad.

I am wearing...blue pants & white top.

I am creating...a more inspiring learning environment for Elliot & Emily.  I have ideas to make over our 'school room' again, & I think they are going to love it.  When they think of rooms in our home, I want them to view this one as the most fun.  We are building lots of memories in this room!

I am going...shopping for things to decorate Emily's Princess themed bathroom later.

I am reading...my Bible, children's books ('always' children's books),  'I Will Carry You - The Sacred Dance of Grief & Joy' by Angie Smith.

I am hoping...to find the perfect accents for Emily's Princess bathroom.

I am hearing...a children's program on tv - Angelina Ballerina.

Around the house...majorly cleaned after a weekend cleaning binge.

One of my favorite things...family dinners each evening.  There's something so special about gathering around the table at the end of each day, & sharing about our day.

A few plans for the rest of the week...organizing some more around the house, get together things for Goodwill, shop for some home decor things, enjoy each moment with my family.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...Mike had to go out of town last week, & Emily was so afraid that he would get hungry, so she asked me if she could please pack him a little snack.  This is what she put in a Ziploc bag - one of her little Mickey Mouse shaped cheeses.  It made us smile.
