For Today - March 15, 2010

Outside my window...incredibly beautiful day!  Spring perfection!

I am thinking...about my sweet friend Susan.  I love her like a sister.  She 'is' a sister!

I am thankful for...sleep-ins.  Hubby is away, & the kids & I slept in till 9!

From the learning rooms...cherish life while we have it - treat everyday for what it is - a GIFT, & treat those in our lives as such too.

From the kitchen...cleaned up & quiet, but will soon have the sound of a whirring blender (see picture below).

I am wearing...my sheepie jammies, & I might just keep them on all day!  Gotta love those jammie days.

I am creating...a loving, fun, happy environment for Elliot & Emily. This morning Elliot hugged me & said "I love you!  You take such good care of me!"  He dressed my face with a smile!

I am going...to enjoy this day, & catch up on some things, but most of all, I'm going to enjoy two very special little humans.

I am reading...my Bible, my study book, & 'What Difference Do it Make', & my blogger friend's blogs.

I am hoping...to be a blessing in someone's life this week.

I am hearing...Natalie Grant's cd 'Awaken'...a gift from a sweet friend.

Around the house...Sweet sounds that remind me that we are a blessed family  Emily is singing, & Elliot is talking back to his game.  Laughter & love fill this home.

One of my favorite things....Checking my blog & finding tags from my friends.  It's a wonderful thing to feel connected to people, even though you may have never met them.

A few plans for the rest of the week...homeschooling, park days in this glorious Spring weather, organize our 'schoolroom' (again), finish a book that I'm reading, play with graphics.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...My daily drink, & I'm having it as soon as I post this.  A delicious healthy smoothie - bananas, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, &  plain yogurt (Greek),  crushed ice, & flax seeds thrown in for an extra health boost. Emily 'loves' this - she is my smoothie partner.  She helps to make it, & I think that's why it tastes extra good!

  1. You are a blessing in MY life ;) Love you xxx
that smoothie looks yummy, do you put any other liquid in it? I just got a much better blender but if there's no liquid in the bottom I think it would still have a hard time blending? are those tin pineapples? I would love to try this one.

  5. Thanks for dropping by my blog, that snow in my photo is the weather outside my hotel room when I was stuck in Newark because of the blizzard.

I reckon I could do with a jammies day too, but it won't be today.
