For Today -   July 18, 2011

Outside my window...dark, since I'm getting a late start here tonight. I had Avery all day, so that tells it all. :)

I am thinking...about the fun the kids & I had today.

I am thankful for...days like today.

I am remembering...hearing Emily in the backseat of the car today, telling Avery that I was the best Mommy in the whole world. :)  And Avery agreeing. :)

On my mind...how good my bed is going to feel tonight!

I am pondering these words..."Don't hold onto what was, & miss what is."  I love this quote!

From the learning rooms...Avery & chocolate doesn't mix!  My son Shad gave her a brownie, & she was 'insane' for a couple of hours afterward!  She was even trying to do karate, & she's never seen karate. :)

From the kitchen...nothing from there tonight - we went out to eat.

I am wearing...white capris & a Pooh t-shirt.

I am creating...happy, happy summer memories for the kids.

I am going...to bed soon.

I am reading...nothing except my Bible this week.

I am hoping...that my son Brandon gets the call this week, letting him know that he got the job that he interviewed for.

I am hearing...the keys as I type.

Around the house...so quiet after laughing, playing children all day & evening.

One of my favorite things...a Krispy Kreme donut!  I had more than one tonight. :)

A few plans for the rest of the week...gather up bags of things to take to Goodwill, print out pictures, catch up on reading, relax, enjoy life & the kids!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...Avery wanted to be "Dr. Avery" tonight, & I had to be her patient.  She's examining me here. She poked my tummy, squished it, listened to it with the stethoscope,  gave me a shot, & when I asked her what was wrong with me, she said "You need to eat." :)

  1. Hi Judy,
No doubt about it, the kids sure do keep you busy. Thankfully you are wise enough to have as much fun as they do.
Disney World is about 30 mins from the farm. In fact, Clermont is called a bedroom community for Disney. Just about everyone in Clermont works at Disney. Funny huh? Have a good one sweetie! Hugz!
