A Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today - March 14, 2011

Outside my window...dark & quiet. Another late night post from me.

I am thinking...about how wonderful my bed is going to feel tonight!

I am thankful for...my family.

I am remembering...Emily's performance in her Alice in Wonderful theme at her ballet class tonight. It was so sweet!

On my mind...the terrible state of things in Japan right now. My heart goes out to them.

I am pondering these words..."Never let the problem in front of you, loom larger than the power behind you!"

From the learning rooms...old habits are hard to break! After breaking my nightowl ways for over 3 weeks, I'm back to being a nightowl.

From the kitchen...quiet, as dinner ended long ago.

I am wearing...pj's.

I am creating...still working on my photo books. Seems to be a never-ending job.

I am going...to bed soon!

I am reading...My Bible & various magazines & books on my iPad.

I am hoping...it cools down again before it gets hot here. Our weather the past week or so has shown me that I am not ready for hot temps.

I am hearing...my son rustling in the pantry - he came over to spend the night tonight. He just informed me that he can't wait for me to fix him a big breakfast in the morning. So looks like I'll be fixing enough for an army, because he can eat!

Around the house...evidence that children live here. We have a blessed life.

One of my favorite things...sharing Monday evenings with Emily at her ballet class. This has become 'our' night. Although, Mike & Elliot went to watch her tonight too, so we had to share it.

A few plans for the rest of the week...catch up with some housework, catch up with recorded shows on our dvr, time at the park, relax.
