For Today - November 8, 2010

Outside my window...dark & quiet.  Every intention I had of getting here this morning, fell by the wayside.  Better late than never.

I am thinking...how good it feels to feel good!

I am thankful for...health!  After not feeling well at all for over a week, I am 'so' thankful for health.  We take it for granted until we are sick.

I am remembering...my past week of rarely moving from the couch, & how Elliot & Emily 'took care of me'.

On my mind...all that I want & need to do since I lost an entire week.

I am pondering these words..."If you have health, you probably will be happy, & if you have health & happiness, you have all the wealth you need, if it is not all you want."  Elbert Hubbard

From the kitchen...it took the night off (except for baking cookies).  We took Elliot & Emily to eat at the Rain Forrest Cafe.  It's one of their favorites places!

I am wearing...my sheepy jammies.

I am creating...a Smilebox of our Disney trip.  I have so many photos to go through!

I am going...to bed soon.

I am reading...my Bible & The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom.

I am hoping...I am back to 100% tomorrow...still have a bit of a cough.

I am hearing...the keys as I type.  Everyone else is in bed.

Around the house...lots that I want to do to catch up from my week of not feeling well.

One of my favorite things...going out to dinner with my favorite little people.  We had so much fun tonight!

A few plans for the rest of the week...catching up, grocery shopping, catch up with my blog reads, enjoy my family & the gift of health.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...FINALLY! Trees here in Vegas have caught up to fall!  This is at the park behind our home.

  5. Hi Judy, I'm so glad you are feeling better, it's funny how we appreciate "feeling normal" after being sick. I hope you had a great time in Disneyland. Do take good care of yourself, warm hugs

  6. Hi Judy;

I was so glad to see your post as you've been missed. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I hope you get better soon. Autumn is just about over here as our trees are bare and we had an inch of snow this past week. It's nice to see full colorful trees in your photo. Take care my friend and get well soon. Hugs
