For Today - July 26, 2010

Outside my window...dark & quiet since this is another late night post.  11pm, & a 'chilly' 97F outside.

I am thinking...about my son.  He's going through a very difficult time right now, & it hurts to see him so heartbroken.

I am thankful for...friends.

I am remembering...our slumber party night last Friday.  These are going to be one of our favorite monthly traditions.

On my mind...the talks that my son & I have had over the past week.

I am pondering these words..."He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

From the learning son is stronger than he thinks.  I am so proud of him.

From the kitchen...closed till tomorrow morning, after having pizza tonight.

I am wearing...pj's.

I am creating...still worknig on some scrapbook pages.

I am try to catch up on my blog reads before bed.

I am Bible, What Difference Do it Make, & Strong Women, Soft Hearts.

I am son can find his way through this sad time in his life.

I am hearing...everyone is in bed, so not a sound except the keys as I type.

Around the house...very quiet.

One of my favorite family.

A few plans for the rest of the week...clean all of our plantation shutters, clean out garage, clean out closets, plan my guestroom redecorating - we're going to hopefully order the wood flooring for that room this week.  And of course - enjoy my family.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...a few weeks ago, Emily & I took Lisa & Avery out to dinner for a  girls night.  Lisa chose a buffet, & Avery ate & ate & ate.  When we left there, we decided to stop by Starbucks, & as I was ordering in the drive-thru, Avery kept calling out from the backseat "I want hambuger & 'finch fi'."   As much as she ate, she would have eaten 'hamburger & finch fi". I love seeing these two together -
